Michael Jordan will be forever remembered as the greatest basketball player ever to play the game. However, he played the game of baseball for a brief period in 1994 with the Chicago White Sox minor league team, the Birmingham Barons. His career was short lived as he hit .202 with 3 HR, 51 RBI, 30 stolen bases. But the point is that Jordan was not afraid to fail.

He gave his all at everything he tried and never gave up. That is why he is perhaps the most beloved athlete of all time. So even tough his career on the diamond fizzled out quickly, the baseball cards of him made will live on forever. Upper Deck and other established baseball card makers have a lot of his cards on the market.

They aren`t quiet as valuable as his basketball cards, but still highly sought after by his fans. His rookie card of baseball can be found under $10.00 dollars or so. It would be a wise thing to go ahead and grab a couple of these while you still can.
