Michael Jordan figures are the most sought after in the world of collecting. I mean everyone including myself wants a piece of the legend. He set unbreakable records, hit game winning shots for NBA Championships, and made everybody on his team better. This is what a true legend is really made of and he has always been someone a kid could look up to as a hero.

So with all of this being said, this is the perfect time to invest in a Michael Jordan action figure. The most desirable action figures of MJ are made by a company(no longer in business), called Starting Lineup. They started making action figures in 1988 of baseball, football, and basketball players.

So you can imagine the buzz over all of Jordan`s figures when they first came out. Everyone had to have his "first" piece as it is referred to and for good reason. They knew the value of it and already knew it would sky-rocket in the future-as it indeed did.

All of his figures were made from 1988 to 1993, so you can see the scarcity of them. He also had an appearance on the 1992 Olympic Dream Team box set, along with his fellow Olympians. That figure as well as others that appear with him, are valued at $100.oo dollars.

There are a number of more Jordan figures by Mattel and other toy makers as well. However, even though they have been long out of business, Starting Lineup figures of Michael just keep leading the way.
