Michael Jordan Upper Deck Michael Jordan has a sensational relationship with the Upper Deck Company. They made the best investment any company could ever make, when they inked M.J. to a ten year multi-million dollar contract. Jordan has taken the memorabilia industry to unseen heights with trading cards, jerseys, shoes, magazines, and anything with his sacred signature on.

Different players have not lived up to the hype of their high draft status, and become a bust in the market of collectibles. However, Jordan and his collectibility have remained on top even through his retirement. Upper Deck saw the chance of taking their respected company to an even higher level with "his airness" as their frequent flyer.

With their partnership, other companies must have Upper Deck`s permission to include M.J. in their trading card sets and so forth. This makes Upper Deck the premiere company when it comes to Jordan products and autographed memorabilia.

All of this can be summed up in a couple of words. Michael Jordan sells and Upper Deck knows it. This is a terrific partnership and as a collector, I am glad U.D. brings me just a little closer to my hero-Michael Jordan.
